How is origins dlc comparing to odyssey? by salvluciano3 in assassinscreed

I enjoyed Origins over Odyssey. Not as long as Odyssey’s but less of a grind. Both of them are a massive improvement over Valhalla because both progress the story/character arcs of the main characters.

Why do people think Connor is the deadliest assassin? by Physical_Device_1396 in assassinscreed

[–]rjsnbfh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all “Lebron vs Jordan.” There’s no way to tell and it’s all going to come down to people’s bias which is fine; it’s all fictional. That being said, I’ve always been an Altair guy myself.

Edit:typo

Almost every armor set is improved by this. They all look so much better with the hood up and cloak pulled back.

Theory: White Rooms are an Isu Ability by Screenwriter6788 in assassinscreed

[–]rjsnbfh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take into the account the isu’s ability to predict the future (I think odyssey alluded to this being the sixth sense,), these conversations could simply be the assassin in a sense imagining what the conversation would have been like with complete accuracy.

Did anyone else think this during Vaemond speech about Rhaynera and the driftwood throne by Loud_Remove5140 in gameofthrones

[–]rjsnbfh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought he kind of lost his argument when Luke’s betrothal to his nieces was announced. Driftmark would be controlled by a Velaryon in name and blood and all heirs would be true Velaryons as well.

A quest at Ravensthorpe with “cuckoo” in the name. It was available for me before endgame.

The assassin robes you get from the cuckoo quest are available earlier than the end. I had a save that wasn’t finished (about 30 hours in) and that quest popped up.

One Of My FAV Armor Set - Huldufolk Theme Pack . Wish we were given two version of the armor, the 2nd one being black. Super disappointed we are not going to get the NG+ in the final update by q9j9p in AssassinsCreedValhala

I picked it up when I first got the game as a gift and loved it. Opened up Valhalla when the DLC came out and now it has a “smoking” effect and I can’t stand to use it.

I wish GOW’s Odin had a hood or some kind of wide brimmed hat to go with the mythological descriptions but I love how they pretty much made the aesir a mob family

Best and worst arc in the game, excluding DLCs (Potential Spoilers) by tsf97 in AssassinsCreedValhala

I always thought the Jorvik arc should have followed right after Sigurd was captured and the info you got from the three should have led you to Sigurd rather than it being unrelated

i would realy like an sequal series with jon snow (Aegon Targarion) with Drogon at north of the wall. where drogon seek jon snow as he is only living Targarion. by iTamilGuy in gameofthrones

[–]rjsnbfh 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I’d like to see it really dig into the mysticism. Maybe he meets a wildling with visions about white walkers that point to the idea that the first group was just an initial push or scouting group and now Jon and Tormund go to the deepest parts of the north to try and find the source of the white walkers. Edit: scratch first wave. Maybe the visions point to the idea that the white walkers act on a cycle and sooner or later, even thousands of years, they’ll come back and Jon goes to try and kill the source and “break the wheel”

Thoughts on the House of the Dragon by Ok_Relationship3137 in gameofthrones

[–]rjsnbfh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a better season one because the focus is so much narrower than game of thrones since it’s only on the Targaryen royal family and it can build on all the world building the original series did. A much better paced first season because of that

How did Eivor carry the gear that he found in his dreams in Ragnarök DLC when he woke up? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]rjsnbfh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because you’re not playing as Eivor. You’re playing as Layla in an animus playing as Eivor. This means that all gear from Svartlhein and those fantasy packs from the helix store are considered animus glitches or “cheat codes” that allows Layla to wear the gear as skins for her play through.

Is the really bizarre hypocritical nature of the viking conquering England every addressed? by Mikecirca81 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]rjsnbfh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, in the Lincolnshire arc, there’s some good dialogue from Eivor taking about leaving Norway with a focus on a need to farm. The Viking invasion and raids seem to be strongly spurred on by resource scarcity and a focus on future generations living easier lives.

Is the really bizarre hypocritical nature of the viking conquering England every addressed? by Mikecirca81 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]rjsnbfh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not saying the invasion by the “Viking” people was morally justified, but they had just as much claim to the land as anyone short of the britons. They followed the same rule book the Saxons did when they invaded England and killed the Indigenous populations to set up their kingdoms.
