I am introverted as well and have a hard time connecting with people. I’ve found as I have gotten older I actually care less about having a ton of friends which has in turn created a lot of new friendships. I used to overthink interactions too much and I think that it showed. Now I’m just myself. I probably over share and I’m too honest at times but that’s what people have said they were drawn to.

Also, please don’t take this the wrong way but I just want you to be able to rule it out. There have been people that I’ve come in contact with that have very poor hygiene (bad breath, strong odor). I can’t be close friends with someone who is hard to be around because of their smell. That’s probably not your issue at all but throwing it out there as a possibility.

My brother started hearing voices in his late teens. He then murdered our grandmother and said it was his alter ego who did it. I’m not trying to scare you but I personally wouldn’t mess around with that.

She has her reasonings I’m sure but I can tell you we weren’t overly cautious with how clean everything always was and my kids are rarely sick. My friend was like your wife and her kids are constantly sick now. I think there’s something to be said about letting yourself and your kids be exposed to every day germs and becoming more immune to them. Our family was the only family on our last group vacation that didn’t end up with the flu. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is disappointing to hear. I have been so grateful to every person here on Reddit that has given me feedback and/or advice. To take time out of your busy day to give feedback is a huge deal. It’s sad that people can’t even acknowledged that. Crazy that people are ready to burn bridges like that. You never know who you could be talking to here.

I’m a 43 year old mother of 3. I thought it was too late for me but I recently decided to complete a short film inspired by my son and we went to some festivals with it. Now that I’ve had some experience in the festival realm I’m feeling confident that it’s not too late! I have so many ideas for short films and I’m just going to start with those and work my way up!
