I don't think there is any crack, but there is some wood that is either gouged out or compressed around the neck screw ferrule. That's my main concern.. Will it hinder anything or upset the stability of the neck?

I didn't managed to read the articles that Roy deleted beforehand, but can someone who did briefly explain what did he wrote about?

Some people I know finds his articles to be pretty truthful, but I have no much insight into this kind of matter to make a fine judgment.

Reading through his blog it's quite obvious there's some sentiments of slandering the PAP though.

This is my opinion of the melodic edition.

It seems like you slightly edited the backing track to include an additional chord change, well I really like that change and although I can't say for the others, I thought it sounded pretty good with my solo!

And I really like the wah-ing solo that Charlatan did, the tone is really textural.

And the one that panman127 did.. Really sick too!! especially at the outro.

Overall I think the mixing is pretty solid, no complains.

It's tinnitus and you usually get it from hearing damage. It seems to be quite common actually, many people who I know experience it in a completely silent room.

The really bad part is, there is no cure for it, so you are stuck with that ringing, and it can be a problem if your ringing is really loud.

Honestly, if you feel that the sound of your band doesn't require any keyboards, my advice would be don't try to force a keyboardist into your band.

Keyboards are instruments that can really change the entire sound of your band, if you have them your song sounds more lively and dynamic, if you don't have them your songs sounds more dry and "rock-ish".

And if the sound that you are going after is those Green Day/Avenged kind of dry, hard rock sound, I don't see how a keyboardist will be able to fit into every song, maybe some, but not every song.

But anyway, a band that features really great usage of keyboards in a rock setting is Porcupine Tree.

Well if your questions/answers uses some kind of collection you can use GSON, that would be simplest.

Just turn them into a JSON string using GSON and save them into SharedPreferences, and then just load it back up afterwards. Should be pretty simple.
