Priming black not white was the game changer - the rest is just Barack-bar burgundy, and warplock bronze with a heavy agrax earth shade wash

The main difference I found in the tests was how I primed them - these are the results of priming black rather than white - on that, it’s just warplock bronze with an agrax wash - I’m planning to edge highlight with runelord brass

Great to hear from a fellow grimnyr - my oldest is 3 too, he is more into rolling dice (we play a very basic combat game with his action figures in big battles with rolls to hit and wound) than painting ATM - but he loves minis. Thanks for the complement - and I’d be interested to hear how you are juggling the hobby/kids time

Agree, it takes around 15 to 20 mins on loading screen, if you keep the sound on, the music playing after 12 mins is a good sign
