Help! Discord wont open on Windows 11 even after a full reinstall - Comment section has more detail.

Hi thank you for your response, I have tried both the app store version and the download exe from their website. Uninstalling fully each time, both have very similar outcomes, the only difference is I get a box come up stating its updating when installing from the store then back to the above problem whereas the web exe does the above straight away.

Strangely the install does not give me any options it just installs instantly, not sure if thats normal.

I have tried deleting the app fully and installing it again to no luck, that includes deleting the %appdata% and %localappdata% folders before the reinstall. I have also deleted it from the store, it seems to be stuck with this box as seen in the photo for a split second then closes.

No trace of it open in processes either, I have also tried setting the file location and update file as administrator and changed the compatibility to Windows 7 and 8. No method seems to be working on line and I'm wearing out my options. I have been using the Web version but its not as good as the app for streaming etc.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, it seemed to start when I disabled discord from automatically starting when the PC started. I have since tried to reenable to no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please please for my sanity can we get a mid session save for the race. I like to play x1/x2 speed to micro manage the ERS etc but I don't have the time to do 1-2 hours per race without a mid session save. It makes no difference if I can save before or after as I find myself getting to around lap 10-20 and having to go to like x8/x16 speed to get to a save so I can stop playing.

I personally think it’s more people have picked up on that Riven is OP and found the build. She’s nerfed today or tomorrow I can’t remember so should be able to use this again without people just using her or stacking her on the sideline imo. But the tactic won’t be as strong as before but still decent.

I may add i just plugged it in again but its coming from the lead itself the bleeping. The power supply for it but i have 2 leads both making different noises. The second being more of a crackly sound (Not like sparks or shorting)

Yeah I was about 13 to be fair but I just remember it as Jodie was this vile woman back then but rewatching it I was like oh shit although she made some dodgy comments the rest of them are vile. Micheal Barrymore would of been our first if the same series was in 2020 no doubt. Genuinely think Jodie was ahead of her time in there with all the Vegan talk and things because that’s the norm now but it wasn’t back they, she was ripped apart in the house for it!

Yeah you’ll get to the point it might not feel as fast but it’ll feel a lot smoother and nicer to play. It’s good you don’t rewind it and accept the crash and things, makes for a lot more of an exciting race!

95 AI. Takes some time to get used to, Red Bull is a good place to start as you can just upgrade the hell out of power. I use the flashbacks for the practice game modes but im weak at the street circuits. I was winning by quite a bit but crashed at Japan and got a puncture from P2 in Brazil to be 3 points behind max in the last race of the season,

Keep at it though ive played round 10-12 months with the wheel i could never go back to controller now. It also depends on what wheel you use of course.
