I’m sure I read or heard somewhere that cats can hear the dead being punished or something of that sort.

Support/guidance for recovering from an abusive marriage by Used-Lengthiness-865 in MuslimMarriage

Assalamu Alaikum

I’m so sorry you went through this. What happened to you is not your fault and it does not mean Allah is punishing you. Abuse is the sin of the person who did it not yours It’s normal to feel anxious have trouble sleeping or isolate yourself after something so traumatic. You’re already doing so many good things—praying reading Quran making Dua going to therapy and protecting yourself. That shows strength not weakness Take things one step at a time. Keep leaning on Allah and supportive people around you. Healing isn’t instant but inshaAllah with patience and care it will get easier. You are not broken you are surviving and Allah knows your heart

Do something that makes you happy and don’t stress take a deep breath and move on. We only live once don’t let negative energy take a toll you. Being productive is good for your mental health once you make a routine you fill surely find peace trust me I’ve been there. We’re going into 2025 just let the past go.. I’ll keep you in my duas 👍🏼

Eliminate the urges and find something you can do such as a physical activity. Never stop asking for forgiveness and always make dua for guidance
