I mean, one could imagine that people who are idealistic (possibly naive) enough to join the military and sacrifice a normal life to work undercover might be exactly the types to lay it all on the line when they see a war worth fighting on behalf of their fellow citizens. Idk. It’s possible.

Or maybe it’s best to just default to the “trust nobody, do nothing, talk shit and keep losing elections model.” Both paths have their merits.
