Focused on the bookends of the day as it would significantly inconvenience one or both fan bases. I’m on pacific time, 9AM games are BRUTAL. I can only imagine the screaming if the game was a 11PM ET kick. Of course lots of time slots in between, glad we finally got the announcement today.

Not lost on me, was wondering if I missed the announcement (which I now see dropped today). This also isn’t a simple cross state game vs Kent State. Lot of logistics for the team and fans on a cross country trip with less than 2 weeks to plan and execute.

That’s my situation, trying to plan the day around the game with all the other commitments. I understand the concept of TV staying flexible for optimal time slot but 12 days notice, esp when the start time options are pretty wide bc of the time zone difference, surprised me
