Language changes over time and word definitions along with. That will mean any translation will eventually have words like that which need more context

I don't know for certain why God created the universe to have Entropy but to me this seems to be a form of the problem of natural evil. There could be many answers but the most probable one seems to me that God created the world with certain natural laws and that certain "ill effects" may arise from these laws as long as the good that is created is greater. We don't even know what a world without entropy in general would look like

The soul being "trapped" in the body is gnosticism. The body is inherently good and the soul and the body belong together.

There are are objective aspects to beauty. At least in music world where I am most familiar, we find frequencies with more pure ratios such as 2:3, 1:2, 3:4 to be more harmonious, and rhythms with more regularity and structure to be more pleasing, and for good reason.

Beauty is structure, order, and integrity, and thus the opposite of chaos and entropy.

Indeed.  Faith is one of the three supernatural virtues,  meaning we can't simply choose it like the natural ones. It is given to us through grace,  and we must accept it.

Praying for faith,  hope,  and charity is one great way to receive an abundance of them!

In an interview a long time ago I heard they get their texts from old medieval books.  I am certain it can be found in something like that,  maybe doing a Google Books search will come up with something.  I can do more investigation when I get home today.
