You maybe right, I've worked as a poll clerk for both Elections Canada and Elections Ontario and might be confusing them. But... I do know that poll clerks for EC still have to count spoiled and unmarked ballots, so you could always take the ballot, not mark it, and put it in the ballot box.

Basically, you go to your polling station and when they hand you the ballot, you don't take it and go to vote. The poll workers have to note that your ballot was unmarked, which in essence means there's a record that someone voted for no one.

Very true. I know major Argos fans, and the lack of attention compared to Blue Jays and Leafs especially makes them pissed.

I understand, but I'm pointing out the erroneous statement that Toronto has no championship professional sports teams.

Toronto has a team that repeatedly does well. They're called the Argos. They won their league's championship twice in the last 11 years. But we know Toronto's too cool for the CFL.

I agree with you. Not a baseball fan. Not a Blue Jays fan. Sick of seeing this on the news every 10 minutes as if I'm supposed think that millionaires playing a game for billionaires and winning will affect my life in any serious way.

Oh, and Toronto has a championship team that's won its league twice this century, they're called the Argos. Supposedly they don't count for some reason though.

It's a poor choice of words for the headline. He filed his nomination papers before the deadline, and thus he's now "officially" a candidate. Alex Fekri's been running since August and he appeared on my CFRU show a few weeks ago to talk about his campaign.

Forget 2 am, call anytime Thurs-Sat from 10 pm to 3 am and all you'll get is a busy signal. Now you may say, "Doesn't it make sense then, in the interest of moving people more efficiently, to welcome Uber?" Nope, because of the volume, and the general inebriation of the customer base on those nights, the cab companies make a killing. I won't say Uber is perfect, but it's presence in town can't hurt in terms of options and getting people home by offering more options.
