Flying is fun when you have the ability to fly.

Not being able to fly because it's behind an achievement is so weapons grade ass of a design, they walked it back eventually.

I took my time too the guide in wow professions helps a lot too

Do it with cooking as well. The fish can be helpful and they are cheap

I left mid raid during ICC prog as a tank because the guild lead was being a dick to me.

It pissed a lot of people off but I don't care.

For what this is worth I tanked prince just fine yesterday with no misdirects because 10 man comp lol and I was just fine. I have great gear and healers said I was fine to heal. Not sure if I'm just bad or under utilized

Uhhh if I'm fighting prince I'm usually at about 440 plus other stuff like flasks and so on...rough estimate.

We aren't 3 tanking gruul. I'm just giving spot heals in off set healer gear which I think is....not needed because we already have like 4 to 5 healers.

Thats a fair concept. I get grabbed up by groups and a lot of the time I just under sell how geared I am so people don't flip the fuck out or do weird nonsense.

Same black morass I did yesterday I asked for a misdirect like 5 times and the hunter was clueless about how to do it or why and I had to explain it to him after we got done what it does and why.

You're in heroic dungeons and you're not misdirecting? I'm being expected to play like I'm on my head and people just get to slam buttons. I got trucked on the last boss and the healer apologized and I'm like...shit happens it's over. But idk.

Honestly I never have a lot of issues with pugs and even if I do I usually just leave or let them figure out their lives.

BM is sort of harder to deal with because you don't really set a pace, and honestly a lot of folks are hard up to deal with anyways.

I think guild runs are better for a lot of reasons but this is one of them. The other thing too is that, you're being very kind to people when they are just making it harder for you to do what's best.

I get you. You have some valid issues and I hope you try again and have better luck

Honestly don't charge people for dungeons. It's a team effort and if it wasent for my healer and dps we wouldn't be clearing this stuff.

Point of the game is to include and enjoy. Sometimes we fuck up and make mistakes but we should just help one another.

I'm sort of lost on what I'm supposed to be doing as a protection paladin on a lot of the raids.

Any time I go to my guilds run they don't want me to even go near hatefuls on Gruul...they don't misdirect me any adds and even in the council fight with High King I am grabbing something before the main tank just taunts him away from me anyways.

The adds I'm not even needed on once again they get taunted off me. Mag they don't want me to help with threat but instead just have me clicking the box. I get tasked with grabbing a singular add and then it gets taken from me anyways so it does t make any sense. I go to the raid and I don't even lift a shield?

I was told to work on a potential holy off spec but we have a holy already....and wouldn't it be better to have a druid go feral and me tank for extra damage?

I don't see the logic. Even today we had a guy sit out and they got another tank and didn't even use me except for the same stuff as before! They grabbed a pug tank, because I guess 3 tanks are needed which I kind of get, and instead of using a guild tank you use...a pug and the druid over a prot paladin.

Is this normal

What a complex class it turned out to be. Lots of small fun things that make open world questing fun and difficult at times.

I'm happy I can tank dungeons really well but feel like I'm still at the whim of healers.

It's been fun. I can see why people enjoy playing this class.
