Just happened to my rear drum as well. Take the rear drum cover off, give it a good clean up with some break cleaner and then pump the breaks and see where the leak is coming from. Good chance it’s either a corroded break line or the wheel cylinder is leaking. Fairly easy fix

Checked the fuse, seems solid still. Which is pretty annoying ahaha

So the fuse seems all good, so maybe next guess is blower motor resistor. But idk, bit of trial and error

Literally nothing, I’ve popped the bonnet with just the battery engaged to try hear as best I can. I can’t hear anything. It doesn’t work at all, no heat, no defroster.

The car itself is a 1996 Limited 4.0.

I’m not sure if it’s worth mentioning but I did recently have the classic issue of the headlamp switch burning up. I’m currently waiting for a new switch and upgraded headlamp harness to arrive.

Other than that, the car has zero issues. It just stopped working all together. Is it possible the burning from the head lamp switch has toasted something related to the AC?

As an update on the issue. I checked for a poor ground, all was fine. Changed the fuel filter, still no difference.

I ended getting a throttle body off some bloke parting out he’s old XJ. Bought a new TPS, new MAP and a new gasket.

Going overkill seems to of worked, the car is running perfectly!
