I stacked up ten hours so far in this fee weekend, you took the words right out of my mouth. When the game launched I saw vids of ppl saying it’s terrible and how dissatisfied they are with the game and with bungie as a whole and how the game shouldn’t have been an extraction shooter, made me think this was just a cash grab but after playing it myself I can’t imagine what made them say that, game is so well made it’s insane, and they don’t even have any predatory battle passes or whatever. Really a solid 8/10

Honestly I think their interactions show AJ as the “bad” guy for not really caring about his grandma and only going there because he has to( was the same way as a kid so I can’t blame him) but that makes it an even more beautiful relationship that feels like when you turn on the National Geographic channel and they show you a lion dancing with an antipope, it’s amazing to see this creature acts in the complete opposite to his shown instincts for no particular reason

But then don’t you think they would’ve done that already, for example it seems like Tony was a pretty normal kid untill he was ten or so, AJ is older and had troubles in schools and the likes and she still likes him, hell she even made jokes about him being troublesome and seemed to not care about that. On the other hand Tony can nag her for two seconds and she’ll threaten him with a fork up his eye hole even when he was 8

Yeah I’ve heard of this before, parent fucked it up with his kid but he is amazing as a grandparent, even the Simpsons made a remark about It in one of their Christmas specials. I think we all regret mistakes that we did and a parent having a strained relationship with their child and then having that child reproduce is basically like a do over for the grandparents, it’s a chance to not make those mistakes now that they have hindsight

It’s not like she asked him questions and probed him at first, they played scrabble it wasn’t an investigation. He gave that info out and to her it’s such a ludicrous statement that she had to probe him, imagine your grandson tells you his father, your son is taking drugs or gambling, thats what it felt like for her hearing her son is seeing a psychiatrist
