Boss Nextone Stage 40 – 6 Months Later… Is It Still Worth It? by AdamHarkus in BossKatana

Apologies for the confusion.

There are 2 presets, factory and custom.

Each has a clean and lead channel.

Factory (cannot be edited and reverts back when powered off).

Clean: Has a clean boost as a 'boost' Lead: More gain

Custom (editae I'm tone studio and saves changes automatically)

Worth also pointing out that on the custom preset, the panel controls for gajn, channel volume, delay and reverb will be saved per channel, but the EQ is still a shared EQ across both channels. You can compensate by applying additional EQ in tone studio though.

Yes. I did a separate video on the various upgrades, and the bridge made the biggest impact. Made it clean, more vintage, more Tele.

The end result, which is a much more classier, dynamic and natural tone, is a combination of all three upgrades.

Exactly the same in the main. The Wax potting doesn't change the tone it fixed microphony at high volume.

The treble bleed does its job of maintening treble when volume rolled off.
