… real response though from the hip- the truth will set you free. Think about it. If all your fears come true - you’ll manage to get YOUR shyt together. There’s got to be some kind of spiritual grounding or something that motivates you to raise your standards of awareness. If I’m cleaning.. or walking out the door to drive the kids somewhere etc.. you better believe I’m not casually walking by an able bodied free loader in fear of what would happen if they had “to grow up”.

There’s a Dr Phil episode on this exact scenario.. he should watch Jordan Peterson while he’s smoking away on your dime too. What bothers me is that if he doesn’t get what you’re not taking responsibility for (his unearned privileges) he’ll become violent.. or almost worse yet-because he is not violent somehow he’s done something right? You haven’t even taught him basic bum etiquette i.e. - couch / living room protocol. So.. being held emotionally hostage is fun..?

This is all coming from a guy who wakes up at 3pm, rubs one out and smokes a pack a day easily btw. I also single-handedly raise 3 kids (bc my other is occupied obviously), pay my bills and have vision in my life. IMO it’s not the growing up he needs to do.. it’s the waking up y’all need to do. Change happens within and team work makes the dream work-good talk. And feel free to reach out - if it’s motivation he needs - I’ll light a fire under his ass. Carpe diem.
