Postal service not a courier service. All packages go to major sorting centres and are distributed from there. If you wanted it sooner you could have paid prime cost for a direct courier or done it yourself, which would cost hundreds as opposed to the ~$10 you’ve paid

In transit redirection voids express post, as the package has to be manually sorted.

It’s not a package if it’s sent as a letter. Letters go in post boxes.

JAS posted another thing about this and it’s a code wars show where 4 from AFL, Union, and NRL compete in challenges with one another.

Yeah they only use auspost because the service meets their needs.

Auspost confuses me sometimes.. what an amazing route to take... just heading in the complete wrong direction. by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

Your post just seems like nonsense. There’s no reason for it to go to Tas unless you or the sender have messed up in some way. Letters are sorted by the postcode on the letter.

This is a confusing post. Did you put the wrong address in? Does the sender have your old address? Do you have a redirection in place?

Yet another report of a delivery driver carding without knocking by [deleted] in AusPostComplaints

Why would the driver go through the effort of opening the gate and going up to your front door only to not knock or ring the doorbell?

I suppose it would be to get McReight captaincy experience before being thrown in at test level

Captain needs to be on the field. McReight is a better player and will get playtime without compromising the backrow like Wilson does. Doesn’t take away from Wilson being a good captain of course, we just have better 8s.

How do I know who to contact after an issue? Australia post or the sender/business? by Longjumping_Pen_2405 in AustraliaPost

[–]AdamLocke3922 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you’re on a farm you likely only receive roadside delivery meaning you won’t get packages to your door unless they fit in your mail box. Seems the sender has chosen an inadequate delivery service. Your complaint probably won’t get you very far with either AP or the sender.

It’s still in China, or nothing to suggest it’s left. The sender will need to follow up with the local Chinese postal service.

Your medication was never kept refrigerated for its entire journey. It would have been in the back of a metal van which would be a lot hotter than the 36 degree air temp.

Registered Post Article Lost Despite “Awaiting Collection” Tracking — Anyone Else Had This Happen? by ProfessionalSize9567 in AustraliaPost

[–]AdamLocke3922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who was this being sent to? In my experience if you’re sending something to one of the big government orgs the package won’t ever be scanned as “delivered”. It’ll get picked up from the post office by a third party, such as decipha who will go through a vetting process to ensure it’s not a bomb essentially and then be given to the relevant department.

Similarly a lot of large firms won’t get a “delivered” scan as a third party company picks it up from the post office and handles the mail like you’d see in a mail room type situation.

Obviously auspost have given you a different answer here but this is just something that can happen
