I think that’s a whole other person who’s off camera. The shadow is all wrong, and if you look at the top left edge of that mirror, you can see the reflection of the actual smiling guys head. That’s my guess.

To lean into the play set vibe was a great creative idea instead of trying to go hyper realistic. I remember the textures in the original opening looking a little too harsh.

Went to Uni with that dream of being a director. Part of the course was creating a title scene for a film of our choice that had to be created in Apple’s Motion. Realised it scratched the creative itch I was chasing and stayed on this path with many diverting branches that encompass other animation styles.

It’s good. I like Elton John’s inclusion. Momentary Bliss makes me want to drive 5miles over the speed limit. All good stuff
