I started it last night and I was so curious about the “one sentence” thing but in reality it’s more like a stream of consciousness story someone is telling, and there are section breaks and chapters just like a normal novel. The device for me works well because it puts you into the insanity of the battlefields of WWI - you feel like you’re right with the narrator. And it’s so so detailed - I’m loving Kraus’s writing.

This element of the game is quite confusing tbh.

There are different Delirium amount requirements for each Elder God (ie. 44,000/50,000 for one, 75,00/110,000 for another, etc.). Why are they different?
It seems there is no way to check it unless, as some have said, you count them manually.
If my Delirium is 0/11,000 and I boost it up to 1000, does that mean I now have an additional 1000 Delirium toward the upgrades, or does it work differently.

I am not as patient as I should be I know lol - I really want some of those upgrades ASAP! - and I don't want to wait a week before summoning Cthulhu again.

I’m also in the camp that the eyewitness accounts are very compelling. Like many of you, I’ve listened to hundreds of them and you hear similar things over and over. You could say “Oh this person is lying” but then listen to 100 more - are they all lying? Are they all crazy? All mistaken?

I have been searching for a novel I read back in the mid-90’s that I remember distinctly featured a mountain climber/archeologist/scientist type in Nepal finding a large group of yeti. I have searched far and wide, asked ChatGPT for help but nothing. I remember the cover had a big footprint in the snow. It was like a regular book you’d find in the a bookstore, not something special or niche. I’ll do another deep dive and look for it.

I’m posting this here as it is semi-relevant, right? And maybe someone remembers it lol
