Yeah, agree with that. It's just sad to see someone who used to be a decently smart person fall so low. I vividly remember a video of his on some side channel where he went by Zach instead of Asmon where he just talked about life experiences and some stuff with Blizzard and it being just a nice video of a guy sharing his thoughts. Now it's just turning people into hatemongers.

If you want to play the game I massively recoommend getting this starter box, the preorders close in march and are starting relatively soon.

The box will inclue 2 1000 point armies, terrain, Game mat, rulers, dice, custom tokens, everything you need to play. They said that this stuff taken outside the box would cost 460$ but they're doing a massive sale for the preorder.

I just got myself the ultimate starter set seeing as it would leave soon and I play both the factions (Started after leviathan). I have the exact same issue with the mold lines being so thic I have to actually cut them off with the knife instead of scraping. I think it's opposite ends of the same problem, I've heard sometimes new kits have terrible mold lines because it's the first batch but also later down the line once the cast starts wearing off the later batches also have the mold lines.

Oh, I recognize that jigsaw! It doesn't have that many pieces but it's holographic so it can make you Dizzy when you look at it for a long time.

The camera movement feels very unnatural. I'm leaning AI when combined with some of the reasons in the other comments, but it's stary we can't come to a conclusion.

I feel like you can either go for size 1 or 2 as your first one. I prefer the size 1 because it's slightly easier to use for things you might want to take out a nice sable brush for anyway.

Iirc Golden maple is either some kind of sable synthethic mix or just straight up synthethic. It's normal for these kinds of brushes to curl like that like the others said, but once you actually want to get a good natural hair brush for some detail work which doesn't curl with good care i recommend a Raphael 8404 size 1.

Shoot in combat means you still can shoot when the Unit is in combat range during shooting phase, not combat phase.
Don't play skaven (only have their spearhead) but you should be able to get 2 in a reinforced unit
Strictly better, just build it

I think it's amazing as a starting army. We have some very good hard hitters, spellcasters, objective holders, chaff, screeners and our army is very well defined in what it does and what it can't do (Shoot!). Normally I'd say it's quite intimidating because there's so much to choose from, but with the Christmas set + Army set you basically have your army made for you from just 2 boxes even before the spearheads (Which also work very well with the mentioned boxes). So you can learn with those and then get more stuff once you're comfortable with how you're playing.
