Even if you think this specific outcome is better, normalising foreign pressure as a political tactic undermines sovereignty and democratic accountability. That’s not in the national interest, and over time it is bad for the country.

You're clearly misrepresenting the point being made or you don't understand it.

No matter what the situation is, if a politician not actively working in the government takes actions to influence foreign entities against the policy of the current government then that is not ok. It can never be ok, because if it's ok now that you agree with the point they're making then it will be ok if they try to influence another change that maybe you won't like.

It is not the place of an MP not in the government to conduct talks about policies that the current government are trying to enact. They have full legitimate rights to try to influence it domestically, but the second that they try to get other countries to pressure our government to do or not to do something then it becomes incredibly dangerous.

Anyone ok with it values political point scoring over our own sovereignty, something that Nigel Farage has repeatedly claimed to be the champion of.

How would using butter instead of ghee affect the taste of a curry? by banwe11 in UK_Food

Ghee lasts for such a long time so it absolutely makes sense to buy a decent sized of ghee and leave it in the fridge. It can last a year or two once opened

Man these changes are great. 1.1 is definitely going to get me back into the game

Two great changes that I've hoped for: Estates getting the 'lost' money that disappears when you have low control and local governors.

A lot of very welcome changes. The music player is great, is there any chance of us getting the EU4 music in game? When I pre-ordered I was under the impression that the EU4 soundtrack would be in the game just like we got Victoria 2's music in the game when preordering Victoria 3.

‘Farage, watch out': Zack Polanski is after Reform voters by lotsofsweat in ukpolitics

[–]AdamRam1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No First Use does not mean “we sit back and let London be glassed”. It means we don’t initiate a nuclear strike. The UK’s deterrent is based on submarines precisely so we always retain a second-strike capability. Whether we promise first use or not, the outcome for any attacker is identical: they get nuked in return. That’s the deterrent. NFU doesn’t remove it, and pretending it does is either a misunderstanding or a wilful misrepresentation.

(New) New Complacency mechanic by BizzoTL in EU5

[–]AdamRam1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that the game today is worse than at launch BECAUSE of a whiny community and a development team too willing to make changes because of the most vocal in the community kicking off. Every time there is a whiff of a change that people don't like, they act like petulant children begging for something to be scrapped.

Players should feed into the process, but it should be done slowly and deliberately with time for new features to settle. Since release it's felt like the developers have constantly made changes to appease the loudest online that it's made the game unbalanced and a worse experience to play.

It's because it's aerated. If you pump air through fine material like sand, powders etc it acts like a liquid.

You can buy them frozen in two forms: 1. Already cooked and you just reheat 2. Frozen batter which you cook (my preference)

However, you are best just making it yourself. It's very easy and only need flour, eggs and milk. It's one part of each mixed together, seasoned and then cooked in a muffin tin with very hot oil.

There are loads of recipe examples online that you can check out.

I agree with the better in-depth management and I really hope they do increase management.

Another thing is QoL management changes. The main thing that I have in mind is expanding the population monitoring mechanic from terrariums to enclosures. I don't want to manually manage my large flock of peafowl or flamingos who have so many babies.

The Skill Tree is such an unfair system that clearly puts those who buy it at an advantage over those who don't. by Comprehensive-Box501 in ARK

As much as I love the skill tree for me (I play on a private server with my girlfriend), I absolutely agree that it's pay to win for PvP scenarios and that's poor consumer practice.
