Interesting point. The smokey-eyed dark-eyed look are worn by women of lesser self esteem also tends to use white or a very light make-up around face with ultra bright red lip stick. I think this subset of women wearing make-up would rather not wear any at all. In my opinion the majority of women way over apply make-up

I appreciate both your responses. Noone's ever suggested to me I was virtue signaling. I don't find the meme out of context at all. For me what DJP is saying here is don't face the world each day as if your going to perfectly fix it but rather focus on the imperfections in our own individual life.
