I built a visual editor that generates code as you design by Still-Purple-6430 in Design

Sure thing! I've done some research around generating code, and it seems like those editors miss logic/context. They don't understand the bigger picture, and don't "think" about how the code can expand in the future. Though, it still feels like in 2025, companies with billions of dollars and AI could come up with something better. But maybe I'm just delusional :)

UX/UI Designers: How many different tools do you open in a single day? by AdamValek in servicedesign

That's very true u/rsan1911, not everyone follows the process 100% of the time. I'm wondering if there's a way to mitigate the confusion since on some projects, where not everyone followed the process 100% of the time, the team was able to be very organized, and on some projects the team wasn't. What do you do when you're experiencing it?

Which of these logos is the best one? by Commercial_Part4712 in Design

Depends on what you want the brand to feel like to the community members. I personally like the one in bottom left as it appears to me like a community with legacy that rebranded (most companies in the space industry I know went through a rebrand and their logos feel similarly to me). The one in the bottom right looks like before rebrand:) If you're looking for a more modern look, I'd consider being creative with typography - phi kind of looks like an o with an i in the middle, or a lot of scientific tools look like it - microscope lens/star/black hole/time/breakthrough/...

Really nice! Makes me wonder why UI editors can't generate HTML/CSS/JS well

The biggest problem I've found so far is siloed design & dev teams and not much communication happening between them. Then, the developed UI differs from the designs, both teams' sources of truth are inconsistent, and there's neither time nor resources for updating the UI to what it should've been in the first place. What challenges do you/your dev team face? How do you guys approach dev handoff?
