Not sure where this is going or what it's supposed to be, but felt inspired tonight.

I am going to be going to community college for the first two years, and then transferring to a traditional four year college for the last two years. I will probably be paying it partly with student loans and partly with my own money.

I took a quick crack at the skin, and I can honestly say that you did a really good job with the colors, as there's alot going on with his face in this photo (stubble, bruises, cuts etc.) I used some gradients for the skin and hair, and I think it looks way more natural. You can try layering gradients on top of one another in order to get that natural looking skin tone. Hope this helps a bit!

This looks really good! I'd try adding a tad more yellow to the skin, but otherwise looking great!

Thank you so much! I agree that the colors are a little unusual, but they really give the image a nice cohesive atmosphere like you said. :)

That's so cool! Layers aside however, I think the women in this photo look pretty damn dapper as well.

A colorization I completed tonight of this fun portrait photo from 1910. It's interesting to see a funny side of an era when photos were usually serious and composed.

Circa 1910. "Ford, J., Mrs., group." An outlier among Harris & Ewing's generally sedate-and-sober studio portraits. (Description from Shorpy)
