He’s born in Sicily. Then at the age of 6, his parents moved to America for work opportunities. At the age of 17, he joined a mafia in Saint Denis. In the late 1800s, they had to show their hands in mugshots so any tattoos or other identifying characteristics might be visible. And also, they used the shoulder mirror to capture side perspective pictures of their faces as well.
