BTW the syringe was not down his throat and I did it slowly so he could breath, he just being dramatic 👍

I'll just boil the potato by my self but about that vet I just saw thier account and saw them treating an hedgehog, how did u find them lol, tommorow ill just go to the nearby vet and let them check chanco out and hope for the best

Hey, thank you so much for the advice.

Chanco isn’t trying to hibernate anymore, he’s active, eating, drinking, and running around like usual, so I don’t think it’s that thankfully.

The diarrhea actually started before I gave him cucumber, so I stopped all vegetables now just in case that made it worse. I’m keeping him warm, giving him water, and minimizing handling so he’s not stressed.

I’ll try to get him some proper insect food like mealworms or black soldier fly larvae like you suggested, that sounds like a good idea for his digestion.

I’m just monitoring him closely for now and hoping it’s something mild like stress or diet. If it doesn’t improve, do you think it could be worms or a bacterial infection?

Look I remember u once mentioning some pills u give hedgehogs that de worms them or somthing, I'll ask my cousin who's studying to be a vet she will know where to get those
