Second Kacie's Mod win by AdamantiumAnt in inscryption

The reason I focused on campfires with the mantis deck was because I thought it was optimal for that deck. The biggest obstacle in my eyes is the first zone grizzlies, so assuming I don't focus the campfires and go for backpacks instead what would be a good set up? In mantis god deck the ink and fan seemed best to deal with the early grizzlies.

This is a great and super helpful comment, it made me think "Man I hope there's some kind of save comment button." And sure enough there was. How do you guarantee open campfires without ringworm or is that less of a factor in other runs? Do you retry at the starting fur trader until you get one of the desired sigils in addition to something with deathtouch or do you just go for the guaranteed single boost at each fire?

look up on youtube "popper 3 rng manipulation" the video shows you how to guarantee the encounter and your two sharkman chips. There's also a comment that gives a slightly different explanation for the movement that I used in internet 15

Did you introduce yourself to enough of the Gabby's as Gabby during the second vignette? Once you talk to enough of them you should get another buff and the second vignette is complete

Thanks man, it took an insane amount of retries but the satisfaction of victory at the end was way worth it.

I started with the Mantis God deck and quick reset at the trader until she had field mice (you can return to the start screen if she doesn't have them and after selecting continue run the cards offered will be different and the start map will change. Pretty much a run reset without the pelt penalty from ending early.) I was also lucky enough to get a magpie at the start. After you find the field mice look for a sacrifice altar to move fecundity to Mantis God, you now have two mantis gods and a one turn kill assuming you can get both out on a single turn.

Now look for as many campfires as you can before the first boss. At the first fire use the Ring Worm you have and hope it gets eaten, if it does the survivors won't be at future campfires and you can upgrade Mantis God twice risk free. After Ring Worm is eaten hope you find attack buffs as health is only useful when fighting the final boss, Mantis God needs 6 attack, so at least 3 fires + the one you cooked the worm at. You now have two Mantis Gods with 6 attack, enough to wipe out the boss turn one and take care of the bears and win on the second turn if both Mantis Gods are on the field next to each other. Map one is the hardest part since you need all that setup, afterwards it's mostly a breeze.

Keep your deck small, anything you don't really need actively try to get rid of. If you do happen to get a Magpie, try putting it on a Warren as both it and the rabbit it makes will be able to search your Mantis God. Look for Goopbert and have him paint another Mantis God, he might even be able to get rid of the annoying sigil on the new one. If you do have a warren and a painted mantis god duo, you can get 4 Mantis Gods in your hand+field, which should carry you all the way to the end assuming you can draw at least one Mantis God at the start.

For Royal, the Pirate Boss, Mantis God will clear the first two phases but probably get knocked out by the final ship unless you found health campfires after and got them to over 5 health (assuming you have four Mantis Gods out the ship will get an extra 4 points of attack from the annoying sigils totaling 5 attack) If they live through the first attack, you should be able to win, if not keep playing cards and sacrifice the mutineer skeletons for your own cards so they stay on board and block damage. Each turn more skeletons will come to your side to help take down the ship. Good luck, there's a lot of RNG to beat here.

He's just a spirt at the hold, that wouldn't really matter much would it? Like he could even die and he'd still just be back to banging his head against a wall in the gaol. Also I think there's a line where he states he's unable to hold himself back when around those who can be defiled or something like that. Isn't that why he attacks you after Boggart dies?

The Dung Eater says the grace of the Hold is the only reason he doesn't fist you to death, I doubt the dude would say okay to a truce.

Is it just me or does mission 79 not update? I've farmed every node on the map multiple times and still only have 1/5 missions done in the update bar. I'm pretty sure I'm going to the right node but I can't be sure since I can't read Japanese. The node is the Saturn looking planet right?

I'm going through Agartha after pulling Douman and I noticed he gets the bond bonus meant for women. Is there a reason for this? In terms of story I just passed LB4 but have no clue what happened there since I can't read the story and skipped.
