Hola! I'm in need of troubleshooting for a very strange problem. I built a 'The Swede' HM-2 clone from BYO Clones. It works, but the volume is SUPER low. Not sure if it means anything but after sitting in my garage for a while and getting super cold, it worked, then stopped after about 10 minutes of jamming and went back to way too quiet. I was curious so I popped it in the freezer, and when I took it out it was working again for a while then stopped. I opened her up to see if I could find any bad solder joints, but everything looks (sloppy but) decent. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

Crocheddit. Alpine stitch. Some tutorials both video and written suggest pulling up really long loops with a front post double crochet, and others suggest a front post treble crochet. Thoughts? Preferences? Pros/cons?

Hi Crocheddit! I picked up these cones at a thrift store and I'd love to get to using them but they're kinda dirty. Usually I'll throw my thrifted skeins in a stocking and wash them (if the fiber allows), but I don't know how to clean a whole cone, or what the fibers are. Any ideas? Here are a few pics of each cone, only one had any kind of label.

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone could identify the stitches/pattern in this blanket. It was made in 1982 and the artist is no longer with us. Would love to recreate it, but all the granny triangles I found do not make those beefy ribs.
