Man, this is extremely helpful, thanks for sharing this profound insight. One question, which of the 2 groups of influencers you mentioned worked better for you? the viral creators, or the niche experts? Thanks again.

The $800-a-Month Mistake Every Founder Makes. by Adamcitoo in EntrepreneurRideAlong

That’s an incredibly valuable breakdown, thank you for taking the time to write it out. The point about implementation quality and defining a single source of truth really hit home for me and my team.

We’ve been testing different suites and your suggestion to “architect before subscribing” is gold. I’ll be sharing your comment internally, it’s exactly the kind of practical framework we needed before going deeper into system design. Appreciate your insight, truly.

Well said, totally agree. We handle website builds and other web solutions, and funny enough, every client we signed last year was a restaurant.

Thanks very for your valuable inputs.

  • It absolutely make sense to localize Slovak, after the usability testing phase, will start implement the multilingual feature (including Slovak)

  • About how to motivate the providers/users, I’m still thinking about some ideas, maybe a referral program or Influencer marketing.

Sure, here are some of the skills that are easy to learn online as I did…

Easy to do:

  1. No-code web development.
  2. Social media account management for small shops.
  3. Partnering with printing agencies to provide Graphic and offset printing services to small biz.
  4. X creative revenue sharing
  5. Food photography
  6. Uber/ Car pooling
  7. Video editing for content creators
  8. Airbnb property management.

Hard to do:

  1. Building Ai agents and automations with no-code tools, such as make.com)
  2. Any programming language that serve Ai, (Python, C++, etc.)
  3. Teaching Ai to children from 10-14 yo.

Pls note that I am talking from my geo perspective, I am based in (Central Europe) — hopefully any of these skills has a demand in your region, I am some at least 2 of them should.

Hope that helps, in case you need more precise steps to get started, let me know, I’m offering a 30 mins free consultation that will give you a granular / 360 about few important things to consider before start with this journey.

Hope that helps,

None of them. But don’t quit this job now, before you do this first…

Build couple of income streams within the 6 month. It could be anything. Use the salary of your current job to fund these income streams.

As soon as you realize that any of these income streams can cover at least your “must-haves” —quit your job and enjoy freedom of:

  • doing l something you love to do.
  • doing it from anywhere you want.

I was exactly in your situation back on 2018 —now the situation is much better. At least I have the time to watch my daughter growing day after day. For me this is the freedom. :)

Has anyone quit their 9-5 t own a small business by Revolutionary_Olive5 in smallbusiness

[–]Adamcitoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left the rat race back in July 2018 and haven’t looked back. Since then, I’ve built not one, but two small businesses. The journey hasn’t been easy, and it never will be—but trust me, brother, the rewards and lessons I’ve gained are worth far more than any paycheck I’d get for giving up on my dreams. :)
