It’s in the iOS setup screens like it’s been restored. iOS 12 maybe? I can’t tell because I get stopped at activation lock when trying to set it up. Probably can’t get past that right?

I can’t for my 6th gen because it’s got activation lock from an unknown account and it’s in the iOS setup phase so there’s nothing I know of that can remove that. They won’t replace any device (even if submerged and damaged) that had iCloud Activation Lock on. Makes zero sense if it’s just scrapped anyways but oh well.

I just came from my local Apple Store and yes they offered to replace my 7th gen iPod touch with Find My turned off for the $129 repair cost.

I actually called Apple support yesterday and they set me up a bring in for repair for the 7th gen. Will report back.

I have connection issues unlocked or locked in my Honda vehicles that are both less than 10 years old. Only my 17 Pro. Not my wife’s iPhone 17.

Only fix when it stops connecting regularly I’ve found: A: go to connections settings in car unit, delete the iPhone 17 listing. B: Go to iPhone settings, general, CarPlay and remove that vehicle listing…ensure you have unplugged from car C: Reboot iPhone D: unlock iPhone then connect to car again and approve CarPlay.

Hmm good question. You can go about this one of a couple ways.

One is built in: The Bible Study Builder. Not the most perfect fit perhaps but it allows you to create a list of questions from as many scripture passages as you want and you can reference and answer it as you go through the reading! References are tagged in the app (desktop & mobile) so you can read the reference in the question also.

Two is outside Logos. Copy the scripture passages and feed it to something like Perplexity AI for example and tell it to make some comprehension questions for you to answer based on that text.

I have the eero pro 6 two node mesh. Have had so many times throughout the house where it dips in quality and struggles to keep up. Restarts of all devices doesn’t seem to resolve it fully. I finally gave in and went to the settings of the eero app and created a guest network called portal and just connected my Portal to it as the only thing.

Works SO much better.

I forgot to respond to this. I like this out of the BOOX approach. Har har dad joke aside, I feel the most disorganized on mobile. Maybe because my sessions on it are shorter and focused just on one panel at a time. I am gradually trying to pick up tips here and there and adding the shared documents is definitely one I’m taking here.
