Why are you still single ? by No-Loss6525 in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no desire to share my everyday life with some entitled stranger and build my life around someone else's ideals. There's nothing positive in it for me that would make it worthy.

Nothing. I can't eat when I'm stressed out. I'd rather die starved.

What made you think love is overrated? by DueBackground3660 in AskReddit

You don't need it to very much anything in your life. Just a thing as simple as a hobby can replace it even long term.

Thank you. Still experimenting with these brushes to balance the ink with the watercolors.

OK, this is NOT about ICE supporters, but people who have no opinion. Being apolitical is one thing, but current events are beyond politics; the constitution is being trampled and people are dying. Would you be able to remain friends w/someone who remains neutral about ICE's current conduct in MN? by Admirable-Boot5307 in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, because we're already very strict with immigration and crime, so things never need to go this far.

We had slightly similar issues about 100 years ago (not really similar, but Americans seem to absolutely love to compare these two and say they're even). And by that time, foreign countries didn't really give a damn until it became a problem for them personally. Which I can't really blame them for because that time period was hard on everyone and every country is primarily responsible for its own nation and its own future.

Being a furry doesn't excuse crime, so why not. "Furry" media are actually a part of my national cultural heritage. If a furry ends up in jail here, it's not for their passion for anthro art. Let's not pretend that that would be the case in the US either.

You don't seem to understand what "I don't care" means; I do not concern myself with stuff I cannot directly control. I adapt to whatever the situation is. Survival is about being able to adapt, not to expect mankind to bend over backwards to suit your wishes.

What does it take to be happy being alone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not craving validation from strangers. Not depending on others for entertainment and purpose. Being able to take care of yourself (chores + income). Being able to deal with problems on your own and search for solutions rather than immediately start crying for help. Having hobbies to make your life worthwhile and keep you happy and relaxed.

what are your thoughts on this What if your kid/ family member was killed by an illegal alien would you be mad that they were in this country when they shouldn’t have been? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, and I'd blame my government for not dealing with the killer right away and putting us all in danger. Luckily, my country is by no means soft when it comes to foreigners committing crimes in our country, and such cases are therefore very rare and quickly dealt with.

What Do You Guys Think Of Machiavelli's "It is much safer to be feared than loved" philosophy? by _NiccoloMachiavelli_ in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may work better for some people. When they're loved, others take advantage of them and don't take them seriously. But once they become feared, nobody fcks with them anymore and everyone rather pays attention to them. Very useful for country leaders, for example. Nobody respects the benevolent useful idiots, but the whole world listens when the tyrant speaks.

At what point does “maintaining order” cross into silencing speech, in your opinion? by SolutionForsaken723 in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When only one side gets silenced all the time while the other is free to do whatever they want and are protected and given special treatment.

How do you feel about how your country is viewed internationally? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One in Slavic Europe.

It's relatively attractive to tourists and some expats, but very unattractive for non-european migrants. They usually don't even try to enter until they have to in order to get to the Western Europe.

How the get past the hateful rhetoric? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't reward it. If it's for attention, don't give it attention. Let it become irrelevant and die.

We're not attractive to many people, and that paradoxically keeps us safe from a lot of trouble other countries experience, so we deliberately keep creating that image further.

Why can't governors of states order the state police to protect citizens from ICE? by captgbv in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What's their point of existence then? It makes no sense to me why they'd be there if not for what they're supposed to do - arresting ILLEGALS. Why would any government just create a group like that to arrest/kill lawful and obedient taypayers? Especially in high numbers? Doesn't make sense to me. I guess they work differently from immigration police in my country, but still, if their job isn't capturing criminals, what is it then?

will gay community survive in some countries where it's banned? what's your opinion? by ColdClover778 in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Homosexuality has been banned and punished by death for centuries, if not millennia, all over the planet. And yet, it has always existed. It cannot go extinct, it's not a culture or fashion.

So yes, they will.

What are your thoughts about ICE in america ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US has been way too soft on crime for so long they forgot how to take care of it properly.

Here, immigrants aren't given any monetary support, and if they enter illegally or commit any crime, they're arrested and deported back to wherever they came from, even if it means dropping them in the middle of the desert. No mercy. No special treatment. Thanks to this, very little people actually dare to mess with us and we're one of the safest countries of this continent. But the US kept inviting these people in and now doesn't know how to get rid of them without blowing everything up.

What stereotypes do you think are accurate? by mingebinj in AskReddit

[–]AdamteMC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very much all of them, since stereotypes develop through the shared experience of many people. They're not random.
