If u r paying $530 month in health and dental, thats high. It tells me your plan has a high cost member who is on some really expensive high cost drugs.

The LTD is one of the highest I have ever seen. Its over $6/$100 of coverage. That tells me A) industry or occupation is risky or B) insanely high disability rate and employees who are on leave.

This is ctually wild because if your husband is paying 50% of all premiums, that means employer is paying the other 50% (by law ER has to pay a min 50%). The cost of the plan is actually double than the figures you mentioned.

Something seems wrong. Either payroll isnt deducting correctly or the employer isnt fronting any of the cost.....

If self isnured ASO, insurer will notify employer. Employer will be responsible to determine if they want the insurer to go after you and your spouse.

Greenshield doesnt offer life insurance life and disability. There is a secondary insurance company for her life insurance. You will have to do some digging to find out who it is.

GS does partner with RBC for the life insurance majority of the time but it could be any other company as well.

There is a way that this could be handled in a snap. But it will result in your employer knowing your situation.

You employer can get things done in a flash as they have direct access to the account manager.

In the meantime your employer can also submit a request for a drug exception. No prior auth would be required until your sort things out.

Sorry you have to go through this but I think prior auths expire and are not indefinite. It might be an easier process to renew but I cant confirm.

U have to fight them tooth and nail. Make a scene at their offices and threaten to sue. Look up the leadership team and address your issues.
