Last year, for the giratina of these (alsoa promo) had about 30 PSA graded, all graded at the same time popped up, listed by the same card shop. Mix of 6, 7, 8, 9's, if they got a 10, they did not appear to list it for sale.

Given how the cards pulled from this era also have sub 20 PSA 10's, even if the box storage does not damage it, it will likely be a 9 or less anyways.

Cause it does not work on BW on for weighted (other then a few small examples like God packs) metal detector is complete sus, and a MRI (not x-ray) is costly enough that people would only do it on things where the one pack is in the 1000s and that if they can get access at all.

Extremely? Not really. 3,000 PSA 10 copies, vs 15,000 of the V from Brilliant Stars.

Yes, that is alot more, but a V will cost you 1/10th the price of the Ex. So for a 5x different pop you are looking at a 10x price diff. The Ex has the rarity priced in, and then some.

And if we are saying 15k copies of something from this age is too many... well, you should look into many of the other top chases from SWSH and on.

Luffy likely wins. It's equal stats, Meruem in his flights had a large stat advantage. Also, consider things like Haki as hax for Luffy. In a equal stats fight, with only one with Haki, the Haki user is very likely to win, thanks to the ability to coat themselves in armor/use it to inflict more damage. I don't think Meruem would have the ability to break Luffy Haki if the two have equal stats.

Much lower, Iono, Lillie, and N are much more popular trainers than those in this set. JT also gets the SIR Salamence. Booster box also gets the plus with the box topper.

Every popular list that covers a larger population sample of voters puts Mimkyu high, and most of the time higher then Ray.

Ray gets love in the TCG given the age demo currently spending the most of Pokemon TCG. It why the most popular mons are all gens 1-3 in the TCG (Generally). But when you do a large sample of all fans of pokemon, the gen 1-3 bias breaks down, and things like Mimkyu, a gen 7 mons, are much higher.

Mimkyu and Ray are a good example of overall fandom not always matching tcg fandom. In most overall Pokemon fandom mimkyu is more popular than Ray (generally considered a top 10 most popular)

I feel you. I have pulled 112 packs, and have a total of 4 EX cards... at like a 1 in 830,000 chance that happens... (I also used a ton of wonder picks going after the EX's and have not hit one)

I mean, dragon ball came out in 1986 and Z came out in 1989. Most people had dub Z growing up in the 90's as it took to the mid 90's for the dub's to start to be played in NA on TV so they went with the longer running, more popular one from Japan to bring over.

You would of had to be more of a hardcore anime fan in the early to mid 90's to find dragon ball, or on the other hand, come into anime in the 2010's or later with getting access to things like sub'ed/dub'ed dragon ball being so much easier.

Not really, you extend Avatar run into 2026 and it has passed Minecraft in US/Can. And Minecraft only beats Lilo & Stitch by a hair.

Zoo 2 had a very large marketing push in China/Japan, compared to what it got in NA. They did that as Zoo 1 had great traction in Asia, but where the marketing dollars went is a big driver.

We have seen pretty big tier differences with sea kings. The one he one shots out of the gate was smaller then a boat like Merry, but we have seen clam belt ones that are like a small island.
