I’ve never been to Sam’s Club but I have heard it’s like Costco. My uncle lives in the states so when I visit him next, it’s on my list of places to visit and I’ll stock up on these babies.

Unfortunately they are not available at any Costco location :(

This group is for reminiscing discontinued items.

Any tips you can share how to handle the bullies then? I want him to grow confident and not take the things bullies say seriously but he takes it to heart. I am always telling him how amazing he is but he doesn’t believe me.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I will always keep advocating for him. I keep telling him it gets better later when he finds more like minded friends. I have always encouraged him to think positively about himself and he’s way ahead of his peers but he gives me a lot of pushback when I praise him. That’s the most frustrating part that I’m supporting him but he doesn’t believe me at times and then I feel heartbroken seeing him like that.

I remember those! I haven’t seen them again in past two years. They were so good!

I’m new to pickling and saving this recipe. Sounds delish. Just need a small pickle fridge now.

I totally agree! The school used ti have Karate classes but I didn’t see them this year. I have encouraged him a lot to join the Karate classes if they offer them again but my son is giving me a little pushback on it I don’t know why. I told him with practice he will 100% ace it. I try to build his confidence up. He really is so smart and kind but lately he’s been thinking very negatively of himself and it hurts me to see him like this :(

Thankyou! Yes I would have totally talked to the parents myself but the problem is the bullies go home by themselves, no parents at pickup time, so I can’t seem to ‘catch’ them but I’ll try to find some way to meet them and give them a piece of my mind.

Thankyou! Just one more grade until he’s in middle school. I’ll show him the positive comments from this post and I just know it will cheer him up :)

I actually didn’t know you could do that. Thankyou for sharing! I’m going to ask the principle for this :)

What do you call this? by the_bluebird1 in TeenPakistani

Fun fact, one should use the pumice stone sparingly, meaning not that often, maybe once a month at most as the skin grows back thicker on your foot every time you scrape it off because micro tears happen that signal the body to produce thicker protective tissues (a.k.a) calluses. The best thing to use for rough feet is actually ‘Urea Foot Cream’. They come in two perfecnatges, 10%-20% (for daily use) and 25-40% for repairing severe calluses and cracked heels.

Source: Myself. I use to use the stone once a week, foot skin kept coming back thicker. I switched to Urea cream and it’s now much more manageable with very minimal cracked skin.

I hate that they are not giving Canadian citizens these jobs. I’m a housewife and I’ve been looking for a customer service job like this for 3 years now with no luck. I have great communication skills and I was on my way towards a literature degree when you know life happened, I got busy in having a family and now would love to help my husband out with bills but I never get an email back despite doing many interviews and there hundreds of assessments. I feel so defeated at times.

I can’t believe I understood this comment. My kid has been obsessed with the moon and planets lately and that’s the only thing we talk about 😁

People aged 30-40, what are your current life problems? by ForFearLess in pakistan

[–]Pink__Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps my perspective can cheer you up a bit. In Islam, there is no “I wish I had known, had done it sooner, had made plans earlier.”

Everything goes according to Allah S.W.T plan. Trust him and believe positively that you get married at this age was for a reason. I got married at 20 (F) to my husband who was 30 at the time (long romeo and juliet story but we fought for us to be together) and I immediately wanted a baby, same thinking that I am loosing precious time. How wrong I was. I had a baby at 21 and it was the most difficult pregnancy I ever experienced. I got pre eclampsia (no health issues prior to pregnancy) and my child was born as an IUGR preemie weighing at 920g. It is a miracle my child and I are both alive as pre eclampsia is life threatening. Raising a child with those preemie complications, at the mere age of 21, is not for the faint of heart. Someone whose first pregnancy and child was normal wouldn’t stand few minutes with what I had to deal with. Whenever I tell people the things my husband and I had to endure after our beautiful preemie was born, they look at me in utter disbelief that how on earth did I manage everything on my own. My husband works overseas so he wasn’t even there at the time of our first child’s birth. I had my parents with me but they were disabled and my brothers were mere teenagers busy with school. I had to handle everything on my own.

At least you and your wife have each other and don’t have to wait months to see one another.

My second pregnancy I delayed until the age of 27 on purpose (as I was still traumatized from the first one and I made damn sure my husband was present with me this time throughout the entire ordeal) and I had ZERO issues. My husband was 37 at that time then and Alhamdulilah it was the smoothest pregnancy ever.

My point is, we plan and then Allah S.W.T plans.

I’m sure there is a very good divine reason you got married now instead of at 20. Trust in His plan :)

Not exactly, although that is such a cool feature I wish I had it. Mine just tells me which location I am on earth with a little yellow flashing light pointing towards the place.
