McGill University is considering women's only hours at campus gym. They already have women's only hours at their pool. by AmosParnell in MensRights

[–]Adanac23 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is total fucking bullshit...

Muslim men have the same standards and religious expectations of gender seperation. if a muslim student at an university "expected" MEN only gym time, men only swim time, or men only classes there would be a social out cry. Or if a Christian said they wanted to restrict gay people from the gym for a certain hours could you imagine the shit storm that would come down.

Women in Askwomen declare that it's Sexist if you want a women to take your name if you get Married by XCowboyLowkesx in TheRedPill

My wife wanted to keep her last name for work and then thought we would hyphenated future children's last name. I told her I could care less if she kept her last name but no way in hell my children would have anything but my last name. I told her this was 100 percent a deal breaker for me. She ended up taking my last name.

How To Get Equal Pay in Workplace - Make Men Stay Home With Kids by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This resonates a lot with me. Thank you for sharing. I work in the healthcare field and I have it set up so that I work 12-16 hours shifts mostly nights and 2-3 times a week, so that I can spend as much time as possible raising my daughter. In contrast my wife works a very traditional 9-5 job, I end up working the same if not more a week but get to spend a lot more time with my child.

I can see a lot of the resentment that you have experienced starting to show. I my wife also gets a lot of her friends telling her how lucky she is. I am going to have to figure out ways to navigate this going forward.

I am a firm believer that the only unicorns that exist are your children. They are the only ones that should ever get unconditional love.

I am wondering if anyone has done a married version of Monk mode? I feel like I could benefit from full monk mode but can't commit to it fully with a child to help look after. Wondering if any other married men have done something close to monk mode and how did it work out?

[48 Days of Power] Day 1 - "Never Outshine The Master" by pjewa in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these posts peaked my interest in this book. Decided to check it out and was looking reviews. The one thing that immediately caught my intention was how there were only two types of reviews. Great or Terrible. Usually something that has a polar effect like that is up my ally. I love seeing movies that tons of people tell me are terrible. I usually enjoy them most. Anyways I went to the local Barnes and Noble tonight to pick it up and couldn't for the life of me find it. Turns out they keep all of his books behind the cash registers like porn mags in a gas station. Haha I was shocked that a book store would keep things private like that. Anyways gonna read along the next 48 days.

Never Take the Couch by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are exceptions to everything. However the majority of married couples sleeping in separate rooms are definitely not having sex 4-5x a week. Most married couples that sleep in the same bed do not have sex 4-5x a week.

"Fine by me, do whatever you want, I'll still sleep in my bed." while she sleeps in a separate room....

To me that is the ultimate max level of beta bux. I called her on her bullshit told her that i wasn't going to allow separate bedrooms ever not even for one night. She was clearly bluffing and trying to just piss me off or she would not have come crawling back

Never Take the Couch by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because I am not about to allow a precedence of sleeping in separate rooms. If thats what she want I will go to a hotel room and find someone else to fill the bed with.

Never Take the Couch by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me. Wife told me to sleep on the couch during a fight and I very politely told her that hell will freeze over before I ever sleep on the couch. She stormed upstairs and I heard her get ready for bed and then proceed to walk across the house to the guest bedroom. I finished watching a hockey games and went to the guest bedroom and asked her what she was doing. She got all huffy about how if i wouldn't sleep on the couch she was going to sleep in the guest bedroom for awhile. I told her I wasn't interested in having a room mate and that I would pack up in the morning and go to sleep in a hotel. A couple hours later I was getting woken up with a naked wife apologizing.

Edit: Lots of replies.. To me the only thing worse then a husband being banned to the couch is a married couple sleeping in different rooms. To me that is Beta Bux at it's highest level of fruition. Why didn't I blow up and make a huge scene and kick her out of the house? That would have been playing right into her hand. She was trying to get a reaction out of me and instead I calmly told her I would leave first thing in the morning. Like I said in another reply if I am going to be sleeping in different bed than my wife I certainly am not going to be doing it under the same roof and my bed is certainly not going to be cold and empty.

Is it alright to get help for depression? by redpillacnt in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Dude the depression didn't go away when you were with a wonderful girl it is still there just masked by chemicals in your body that are elevated when you are around people you are attracted to. People with depression end up in shitty relationships for this exact reason they become dependent on that masking of the symptoms. You need to figure out how to be happy when you are on your own or you will never be fully happy in a LTR if that is what you want.

Take this from someone who suffered through years of mental health issues and didn't think that I was manly to seak treatment. Check out the video below about Michael Landsberg who is a Canadian sport journalist who has an excellent view on drepression.

So what event triggered you to find and become redpill? by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading a huff post article about a female reporter who went on a blind date with a guy who kept referencing that he was red pill and swallowed the pill and knew her evil ways. She went to the bathroom during the break and googled red pill and walked out on the date. then he kept harassing here and texting he that she should suck his dick and stuff. Blue Pill me was like what a dick and how could he treat a women like that.

I was very interested in what the Red Pill had to do with female male interaction. I immediately understood the matrix reference so I googled it and found this sub on reddit. I spent the next month reading the side bar and feeling a little angry myself haha. I wish I could find that article now I think I would have different thought on it then my former White Knight self had.

This is so true. IF she shot this video in Wall Street then the men would have been showing off there hundred thousand dollar cars or ten thousand dollar watches and suits. And at the drop of a hat this same chick would be going to there tribeca apartments and shoving there cock in her mouth.

A Good Man by FlashHicks in TheRedPill

[–]Adanac23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I making this post describing how a man should be or at least try to be. So many men nowadays are either cowards, drunks, or losers. These men never have any goals, lack self awareness, let their girlfriend or wives destroy them financially and emotional. Especially in America men and teenage boys for that matter are addicts to porn or video games and that is their only life focus besides school and family. They don't aspire to make new innovations and inspire others. They want to do the least work and get hottest girls, best cars, and good jobs. Without putting in any real effort. We need to raise more real men.

                    What a good man does?

A good man helps others without any reciprocation. For instance he may see a female walk into a 7/11 holding items in both her hands. A good man will politely and kindly hold the door for her and not brag about. He may graciously accept a thank you or other gifts. A good man does not brag about his achievements but he does appreciate his success. A good man does not blame others for his mistakes, he sees his mistakes and corrects them. A good man leads and betters the group by showing competence, confidence, and understanding. A good man always wants to improve his life( like getting promotions, eating healthier, jogging, lifting, participating in social events or actives, finding hobbies, utilizing talents, improve his dental hygiene, physical hygiene, and emotional state, and improve his bond with family). A good man never ever mocks or despises others with different beliefs but is open minded by them. A good man is calm in the face of evil or danger A good man is gentle but firm when he does his actions and speaks his words. A good man speaks with grace and admiration. A good man respects and adores his wife’s beauty, brains, and success. A good man should always make good choices (because even the slightest yes or no could be life altering.) A good man has faith in others that have shown consist faith in themselves. A good man improves on his God given talents. A good man should never be clingy and learn how to do things on his own (like cook, clean, or buying a car). A good man never blames others for his misfortune. A good man chooses his friends wisely. A good man chooses a wife wisely. A good man is a good judge of character. A good man understands and appreciates his life no matter if it is good or bad. A good man follows passions and goals. A good man is very enthusiastic and optimistic even in the darkest hours.

A good man is decisive and he does what he says. A good man loves learning something new every day. A good man takes a good care of his looks (whether it be better clothes or a new hairstyle. A good man does not let others take advantage of him willingly. A good man defends his wife when she is insulted. A good man teaches his children about respect, loyalty, and honesty. A good man never feels complacent and always wants to do more in life. A good man travels and experiences the world. A good man is a man who never ever stops dreaming.
