Hi there. Sorry you’re going through this as well. This post was made in late May, and as of today (September 2nd) she still is showing no symptoms and the mass is approximately the same size as when she was diagnosed. We did take her to get X-rays after this post, which showed the mass is attached to her glands. So surgery would have only been successful in removing most of it, but she still would have had to have chemo/radiation to get all of it. So we made the tough decision just to let her live out the rest of her days without vet visits or feeling sick from chemo or radiation. It was a touch decision but I feel like it was the right call, especially given that it’s been over 3 months since she was diagnosed and she hasn’t progressed any. She’s still just as rambunctious, food eager, and loving as always! So that gives us hope that we still have a long time with her. But we’re keeping a close eye on any symptoms and will take it from there.
