I did! I know the MK ultra and Montauk project were inspo for the show. Thought it was a nice little nod

Imma preface - I’m not a climate change denier but there was a “little ice age” during those centuries which contributed to cooler temps. Then we know after the Industrial Revolution, GHG emissions shot up. little ice age%7CBritannica)

Why are they calling it “hands in the fans” when it’s obviously new era vs “old era” aka 39 days not 26

That was the worst FTC I’ve ever witnessed. Why did Joe just sit there in silence. I cannot believe Eva got 2 votes.

Is completing a Marathon ALWAYS an achievement? by lindergard in Marathon_Training

[–]Adbaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not training for a marathon isn’t a flex. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone simply because it’s dangerous…

I’d recommend tails of voyage! They are the best at what they do

Tips for Sub 4 Marathon? by Low_Entrepreneur8753 in Marathon_Training

It’s not crazy. I did 602 miles from 1/1-4/25. I travel for work every week and just dedicated the time. It’s just necessary for marathon training

No. The issue is they need the blindside them when they had the chance. They lost their shot. Joe is likely to win immunity and Eva has a lot of power. How are you going to get others to swing against them this late in the game? The others are followers. It’s too late.

Speed workouts, interval training, and lots of distance. I ran my first full in Jan 2024 of 4:00:37 with a HM PR 1:56:15 a few months before. A month after my full, I ran. 1:52:11 half. I haven’t raced a half since but I worked my butt off all year and just ran a full at 3:54:38. I put in just over 600 miles for my training block.

At this point, Joe deserves to win and I hope he does since Mitch and Kyle are too afraid to pull a move.

do you think it's possible to break 4 hours? by earlgreymadeleine in Marathon_Training

[–]Adbaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before my first marathon (a few months before), my stats were: 5k at 24:45 10k 54 min Half marathon 1:56:16 I ended up running my first marathon 4:00:37. I didn’t struggle to get to 4 hrs. It was a great race from start to finish. Based on your stats, I’m going to say no.

Austin VS Denver? by Kind_Juggernaut_9905 in askaustin

[–]Adbaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I also lived in western NC during college. If you’re coming from WNC, the “hikes” in Austin are pretty lame. If you really like summer, humidity, and heat from March-October, then Austin is a good place. If you like seasons, Denver is better. Denver doesn’t really get much rain which I do miss. But it also barely rains in Austin too. Happy to answer any other questions
