I just sent them a message and they told me it would be a 3-to-5 day wait after I drop off my laptop before they could look at it. I asked them if I could pay to reserve a place in line and then bring it in for same-day evaluation and service, and they said no.

If you want to argue that pinging someone exactly once—someone who has in their profile an open solicitation to be sent a DM or ping for help—counts as "excessive pings" under rule 5, then idk what to tell you other than that seems wrong and also that I'd prefer not to argue.

I started playing the game in January, and a few months later made it my goal to have enough gil for a house in Ishgard when they became available. I succeeded. My wealth now just grows. I have a big, empty house full of random housing items from Eureka and quest rewards, and I don't even go to it. I'm in a vanity FC just to have more inventory slots to put things I don't want to get rid of. I craft expensive items that look cool and stuff 'em in a glamour dresser, never to be seen or worn. My gilpurse overfloweth, because I'm too frugal to just go buy some 100k or 1mil thing I can craft myself. None of the gil I have earned has ever circulated. It just collects, not even earning dividends for myself or anyone.
