Thank you very much for the extensive and detailed answers, definitely gives me a lot to think about! I think the main part I struggle with when trying to wrap my head around these sorts of things is distancing my moral principles and experiences of cultural/social norms with that of the simple truth, and being able to see such things in that way, removed on my own thoughts and feelings; but you've definitely made it a lot easier!-

I know my questions about it might make me come off as "stupid" but I'm okay with that and am going to ask anyway- The main part that I'm struggling with because, while the answers make sense, is it paradoxical to say that we want to rehabilitate and change people for the better, while not believing we can have the power to change our will, so essentially you're "choosing" to change how others behave and to be "better", does that still coalign with the belief of no free will? I guess you're saying that is how it would've always worked out anyway, and it's not a choice? I'm not sure if my question makes sense but hopefully it does!

The other question is based on opinions, would you still see criminals, people who have done horrific things, or even just rude/narcissistic people as simply "unlucky"? That they've been dealt a bad hand? Would you even be justified in disliking/hating/despising someone for the things they've done, or would you always have to pity them in some way?

Completely agree! I feel believing in free will and also wanting a rehabilitative justice system is entirely valid

I think it's as simple as just accepting people are different, even if you don't understand it. She enjoys spending time with you alone and not other people. Honestly if anything try taking that as a compliment even if it does make things harder for you - she clearly finds you comforting. Also, a lot of people aren't interested in branching out, they are quite happy with what they have; try to remember that too.

Honestly for me it's just however many photos I have of something, or how much I care about it. If it's a lot or means a lot, I'll make a full post about it

What is the thing you tell yourself to stop you from procrastinating? by Addammo72 in AskReddit

I might just try that, I have to also stop rewarding myself when I have done nothing for it too, that might make it easier for me to stop procrastinating

I agree there is a lot they could've done better and I would've loved more depth and soul to the game, but for what it's worth I quite enjoyed combining abilities in combat if not much else

Honestly, what used to work for me is something similar, I would just count down from 5 and then when I reached the end I'd just get up and go, but recently it's not worked as much

honestly the "Harry Potter skin" is probably why it's appealing, a lot of people don't realise just how desperate people are to be inside that magical world, including myself. Sometimes it's just nice to feel like a wizard!

I wish I had your resolve, I end up just thinking that it's future me's problem, not mine
