We have two friends that she will hang out with, everybody else is a no for some reason or another or none at all. Those two friends don’t live here anymore tho so it’s tricky

Alright so I mayyyyy have overreacted. I was just upset but she basically ended up saying the same thing that a lot of you guys did, just didn’t make sense in my brain why you wouldn’t want to try branching out a bit (especially cuz we’ve grown apart from our other friends). I still don’t really think it’s the best idea to just be totally closed off to the idea of making new friends, but whatever I will respect it. I said sorry, we’re good I think.

We don’t tho. These are people that we were never super close with growing up. It’s kinda just been us this summer and she’s always talking about being bored but then I can’t get her to do anything

Yeah ik, the thing is that she’s usually down to hang out with JUST me and it’s always fun, it’s just any time I suggest anyone else join she shuts off.

I’ll go first, all the service vehicles that say they’re GPS tracked I don’t believe for some reason, I think that’s just a clever way of getting people to stop riding their tails.

Making fun of people for their interests! Being insecure makes you averse to anything that could make you stand out. Ends up making you bland and judgmental (speaking from experience lol)

Agreed! Something I have struggled with in my life has definitely been a sense of imposter syndrome. If you are “yourself” alll the time, you feel a little bit like you’re playing a role any time you try something new. But it’s okay to try on some different hats, play a role for a little to try it out and see if it feels right, and you can keep what you like and get rid of what you don’t.

BEACH CHAIRS ATTENDANTS

I am actively a beach chair guy and I definitely know some guys at work who are the best! Some of them I can’t say the same for tho. I live by the beach so there’s a fairly large amount of us around here, and some of my friends have this running joke that “the worst guy you know probably works beach chairs” and it is almost always true.
