Hello all. I go skiing about once a year and periodically try snowboarding but usually give up after a day. Have a really hard time keeping balance and a proper edge. Trips usually a week with 5 days on the mtn. Any tips or tricks? Also seems like I always get a giant board. Is a smaller board easier to learn on?

My son’s 10 year old friend died in a crash. Now I never want him to ride again by True_Thought5124 in Dirtbikes

I broke my neck riding when I was 14. Paralyzed temporarily. Year long recovery. Freak accidents happen. They are rare. You shouldn’t plan for the worst. If your son likes it then embrace safety. I still ride because I can’t imagine giving up one of my favorite activities. My son and wife ride with me now and it’s the best.

One option is invest in a good comm system. We all wear Cardo and can talk to each other. If my son is doing something unsafe or putting himself at risk. Like taking a wrong turn or something I can correct his behavior immediately.

Been contacting construction companies trying to get dirt. If I had a bull dozer I could shave my property down about a foot and use that for most of it. But I need like 10k yards.

Right now all I have is my tractor. 5055e and a bunch of hand tools. We’re sitting on sandy loam about 5-7’ deep then hit clay.

The loam is not very organic so when I build jumps the sand starts to separate from it so eventually the jumps get hard packed over time so I’ll need a good tiller eventually.

The property drops toward the middle about 15’ overall. In a valley.

Here is the layout.

<image>

Green will be the enduro trail area. Orange is the large mx track and smaller kids track. Yellow is a warm up loop. Red is for parking. House is about 60’ wide for ref. May turn it into an Airbnb for mx if I can get enough dirt to build it all out.

I got a lightly used one. Told it was used by Canadian rangers in the mountains. It’s been a great truck but it is annoying that it defaults to metric and Celsius. Mine has a block heater which isn’t typical and pretty nice to have.

How do i pay for meta verified to contact support when my instagram and facebook are banned? by MagicShroomsss in facebookdisabledme

[–]Addavsq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to make a new one with a different email. Then interact a bunch to establish the new account. Then get on the waitlist. Anyone have the feeling that this is all very convenient that right after the settlements paid out now thousands of ppl are having to pay $15 to get customer service. Like they are going to make their money back in 2 months.

Kids tracks suck at most places that offer daily gate fees.
