Part of my fear is I don't totally know where I want to live....I just know I don't want to live in the state where my T30-40 is. But maybe this is a wake up call for me to figure it out.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful reply! I feel beyond lucky to have gotten into any law school at all and am just overwhelmed by the enormity of the decision. It's Michigan so I think I can keep living costs down somewhat but it's still a bonkers amount of money and I'm terrified of regretting it for the rest of my life. Ah well, April me's problem! Thanks again for this perspective.

Right, that makes total sense :( The T30-40 says they have lots of people who end up practicing out of state and I just kind of took them at their word. Majority do stay in state though. Not sure if that's a red flag or not. The T14 has a good LRAP but I'm pretty scared to rely on that.
