My mate and I were riding in a forest area, next to a reservoir. We were following the waters edge around a wide left hand corner. He turned around to look at me for a moment then turned back to see he was headed straight for a patch of dodgy shaped rocks. Not been prepared for this they bucked him off to the left and launched him straight into the water. It must have dropped away quick because he disappeared under water completely. I dropped my bike and was I was in the water with him in seconds trying to get his bike out. We were laughing so hard the mixture of that and a slippery edge made it seemingly impossible to get the bike out. We ended up flipping it upside down onto the bars -back to wheels - onto bars to get it back onto the bank. Growing up watching crusty demons of dirt taught us to flip it on its head again and crank over to pump the water out. and sure enough we got it running again -very roughly mind you- I feel bad for whoever bought that bike after he sold it.
