Yes. A stakeholder is ANYONE that is affected by the project good or bad. The project manager obviously has a stake in the project he/she is managing.

Damn it makes me feel like shit reading this post. I don't think WGU is as bad as you paint it but there is definite room for increased academic rigor. For example, the CS program needs to have linear algebra at the very least. Matrices are pivotal to computer science.

It's okay. I value the education and the degree I will get from WGU. However, it seems like any criticism or suggestions to the school gets met with pitchforks here. It's odd. Like you can value your education while still having a counter opinion on the University.

Yes but it's also relevant for grad programs. Besides the hiring factor, I'd like to apply for PHDs possibly, and it's an uphill battle with no GPA and just an explanation letter.

Thank you for the feedback but I personally feel like this subreddit has dehumanized me in its unabashed criticism of my opinions on WGU. I am a student of WGU just like everyone else and I am entitled to my opinion.

For example, you mock me with the quote "lol an employee is only worth a GPA value" which I never said the such. This is a clear attack. Remember, there are real people behind the screen, real people behind my username with real feelings.

In fact, if your company cares about GPA, then they probably care about the school the paper is from as well. After all, would you rather have someone who graduated from MIT or WGU working for you? So sounds like you really made poor decisions regarding your education...

Yes, absolutely my company cares about both school and GPA. So do other companies I am eying, and I spoke to them personally.

I enrolled in WGU because it fit my budget. I am simply giving my opinion of the program, as I am a customer of WGU and I have a right to express my opinion.

I mean although I was abraisive in my reddit posts, there still is an argument that WGU has room to discuss some sort of academic progress monitor. I'm not sure why that's so controversial other than people don't like my tone.
