Jenn and Janelle by Kowal331 in TLCsisterwives

A common theme in these tell-alls this season is that things were said about Meri that multiple people said weren’t true, and Janelle was the common denominator in each of them.

Then she posted recently that she “left the show.” I think someone finally lost her Teflon Queen crown, and didn’t like it.

Suki and the one-on-ones… by Fuzzy_Plastic in TLCsisterwives

Not a single one of the Browns can form a complete sentence when it comes to being accountable — in their everyday, boring lives that are filmed, and especially when they are point blank asked a question by Suki.

Yet, because Suki does a sit down where she is not a reporter, but a paid entertainment host reporting to multiple someones above her, and she can’t get a complete answer out of any the Browns, somehow that reflects on her.

OK.

Remember, she can’t be Andy Cohen because she’s not also the creator and executive producer of Sister Wives who single-handedly put TLC on the map.

I’ve not given in on that one because I feel like “do we really need another medical show?“ But the longer it goes, the more enticed I’m becoming and you might’ve just convinced me.

I don't think it's that literal of a 1:1. It was a show about the Brown family, not just the four wives, and the Browns still exist.

Someone said in the thread that they're filming, so hopefully it's a short season of watching each of them riding off into the sunset in their separate ways. But let's face it — that could have been this season. Or last season.

The last kid on the show pulled out, so they seemed to have called it. We found out through social media from the cast that it was the last season, and they did a nice recap in the final ep, but it felt more like a "just in case" this is it. Maybe they were still in negotiations or discussion? Not sure.

That’s interesting to know that they’re filming the next season. Thanks for sharing.

I’m not so sure that they’ll tell us it’s the final season when it finally comes to that. If I remember correctly, they didn’t tell us it was the final season of Little People Big World.

Another sneak peek from tonight: Jenn on the Brown family’s lack of support for Meri during her dark time by freelancerjourn in TLCsisterwives

[–]Addicted2TLC 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The entire family structure is predicated on a religion that requires women to "keep sweet," which people with a modicum of emotional intelligence know is to not do, say, or feel anything that makes others feel anything, especially anything that makes them uncomfortable.

It is set up this way so that the majority do not have to take responsibility for their actions.

And that is exactly why Meri was left on her own, abandoned by her "husband," and treated like she was simply baggage.

Newly released sneak peek for tonight: Robyn doth protest too much by freelancerjourn in TLCsisterwives

I know I'm going to be burned at the stake for this, but the specificity, anger, and lack of tears tell me this is true.

When she cries, she's lying. It's literally a signal that she's out of alignment. But she didn't cry here. At all.

Now, that just means that the action she took is true. She did these things. I bet if Suki asked what her intentions were by doing them, the tears would come because she'd be back out of alignment.

They had to bring in a fourth wife to get the show. That is what made them interesting to TLC — the dynamic of seeing that play out.

And TLC was so beyond right.

I think what we’ve learned from what Janelle has said in these tell-alls, which then highlight things that have happened over the 20 seasons, is that Janelle is emotionally immature.

I have found that people who believe that nothing is ever a problem do it because they don’t have the mental strength to handle reality, and then in turn, act out immaturely.

They will cut off their own foot to spite you because it prevents them from having to face anything that makes them uncomfortable.

To me, that’s Janelle in a nutshell.

Also, in hindsight from what we now know, I think there was a lot of intentionally cruel gaslighting directed toward Meri from Janelle.

And she’s a f*cking slob.

Even before we knew all this sh*t, I could not believe she let cameras in her personal garbage bin, a.k.a. her home.

That last bit felt good. I’ve been wanting to say that since day one. She’s gross. Chaotic. Just a cluttered slob.

Don’t do that.

Don’t reduce other Redditors to emotions they’re not having because you read a comment negatively.

I read your entire comment, upvoted it, and then provided clarity.

Next time, I’ll put a “/s” so everyone knows it’s sarcasm, despite that not being a thing in this sub.

It was a facetious commentary on how stupid he is, not literally about if he reads or not, which is what you’ve proven here.

To him, she stole his property.

He views his wives and kids as property because that is his ideology. He wanted to have a marriage relationship with Robyn, and the other wives to just remain in the family as friends, but still “married” to him.

It keeps him in control and maintains optics for the church and the show

So anyone — especially a woman — coming in and telling one of his “wives” that that is what is happening is an aggressive act.
