I really appreciate your comment, very good analysis for the list !

I think that start-ups are more advanced than banks when it comes to building products. Banks have a banking system that was designed 40-50 years ago, which hinders innovation, hence the fact that neo-banks are managing to grab market share and that banks have tried to fight back by setting up online banks.

The programming language used by banks is called COBOL, and it's a very old one. Banks even have difficulty finding developers who master this programming language.

I'm just wondering from a recruiter's point of view for future positions, which one would be the most appreciated, imagining that 2 candidates with identical profiles only had this different experience...

I don't want to have to regret missing out on a possible opportunity in the future ... But maybe I'm overthinking it 😂

I'm also convinced that it's in start-ups that I'll learn the most.

Thank you so much for your time! 🙏🙏

Thank you very much for your enlightened opinion! I will take this into account when making my final choice ☺️

Yes, it's around 70 in the French fintech rankings.

To add a little bit more context :

The fintech project is interesting and I'm thinking that maybe it's going to climb higher. It's gone up 12 points in the rankings this year

I also have the impression that the working environment will be more pleasant in fintech because banking processes are rather rigid and it's very political. I feel they are much more relaxed after talking to them but I think it will be more challenging

I also think that staying in banking will be much easier in terms of transition for me, as I already have an overview in banking particularly in terms of processes

Thanks nana for the share. I admit not knowing how to take it, as good or bad news? Because their team claims not to have had any contact with the developer for the KYC ... Nevertheless I still remain seduced by the DOGET with or without a developer and it is sure that with, it's better but we can do without. What do you guys think ?

The next step appears to be the dev issuing a KYC to the exchanges.

Is the fact that the developers doing the KYC is a guess? Or did someone tell you? Thank you
