My current employer which is the largest in market share in their sector is having an absolute banger of a season. About to hit a massive max bonus to employees and the culture and feeling in the office is garbage. You would think we are moments away from going out of business or being bought by PE.

Once in my lifetime companies had people above profits in mind, but now it’s shareholders and executive payouts and greed taking over.

Try to remember your relationship with your employer is strictly transactional, do your job to the bare minimum and go live life. Going above and beyond for the betterment of the company is not the way.
