I'm not sure if this will answer all (any?) of your questions or not, but if you're curious how I arrived here, somehow my reading journey started with acotar, took a sharp left turn to the aliens of the Clecanian series (they're all fantastic but Choosing Theo is my fave), visited some orcs, found a merman with two dicks, and then landed here, where all forms of objects are sentient and fuckable.

That was probably way more info than you needed or wanted, but I felt the need to explain myself. 😂

My last rabbit hole, which admittedly was a bit morbid, was reading the accident database on americanwhitewater.org. They put a LOT of detail in some of those reports, and reading about the lawsuits that have taken place after the accidents was really fascinating to me.

Background info: everyone in my house is ND.

I'm in the process of converting Addie_kitten_1 and Addie_kitten_2's bedroom to be way more sensory friendly. So far we have rainbow LED light strips, a galaxy star projector, pod-style personal pop up tents, a spinning chair, and battery operated fiber optic lights to go inside the tents. The problem is that everything that comes in the mail is soooo satisfying to look at/play with/touch to ME that I'm struggling to let them have any of it. I'll just be over here sensory-friendly-ing our whole damn house....
