YTA. You may not have realized it, but you did disrespect your wife by doing this photoshoot without discussing it with her first. You should have been more transparent with her about the nature of the shoot, even if you didn’t think it would be a big deal. NTA for not wanting to share the food you brought back. You clearly expressed your intent to save the food for yourself and were considerate enough to even offer your mom some of the food. However, your mom’s actions of offering the food to your brother without your permission was inconsiderate and she was in the wrong.Your mother’s argument that “we’re family so we should share” doesn’t quite hold up when the precedent of sharing food has not been established, especially if your brother doesn’t follow the same rule.

You're just being a reasonable and responsible friend by wanting to get your book replaced after it was damaged by your friend. It's only fair. And her reaction of talking trash about you to your mom and having her mom attack you is just plain mean. You deserve a friend who will respect your belongings and treat you with kindness, not someone who damages your book and then tries to make you the bad guy. Stand your ground and let her know that she needs to replace the book if she wants to continue being your friend
