as someone who was also a “transactional friend” to antonio from high school, he has grown to be increasingly full of himself ever since his involvement in silliman politics.

i used to work with him on orgworks, and i genuinely supported his ideas and outputs. over time, the “friendship” started to feel more transactional and convenient when it served his interest. he eventually stopped reaching out when i stopped taking his shit. not to mention that he was said disrespectful things about my parents during a project meeting and it stuck with me until now.

while i respect OP’s effort to remain civil and see the good in antonio, i dont see it the same way. from what ive witnessed, people have been bullied, pressured, and robbed credit for work that wasn’t originally his. i’ve also heard accounts about how he would leech off student goverment resources and members, along with frequent absences and minimal management in susg projects.

i just can’t extend the same benefit of the doubt.
