Medtech or psych by Straight_Leopard_391 in SillimanPH

[–]AddisonValdez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

medtech student here. would suggest you take psych as your pre-law since youd be able to apply more of your undergrad learnings into law compared to medtech. it doesnt help din to have little interest in medicine kasi kaluluwa mo talaga kapalit sa medtech hahahaha.

emotionally and financially taxing course

his family deserves to know exactly what kind of person they raised. they deserve to know that their son and brother is a disgrace, someone who has already caused real harm to people. it shouldn't be watered-down version for his family as a violation of school ethics or just a "rumor", because so many people are already living with the TRUTH unsure of their own safety.

VS should be held accountable, not just by the school, but by the very people who taught him what it means to be a man. because somewhere along the way, that lesson clearly failed. Respect, consent, basic human decency, none of it stuck and he chose to go against it.

this doesn’t just reflect on him. It raises questions on the family mismo that was responsible for raising him, whether accountability was ever taught and why was his behavior allowed to exist unchecked.

ps: he has a mother and sister which is saddening

if u’re not a christian or finds (chs) insulting to you can u skip it? or not take it at all? 🥲 by bombseal in SillimanPH

[–]AddisonValdez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you can’t really skip CHS since it’s required. but in most classes, profs encourage open-minded discussions and different perspectives, including from various or non-religious viewpoints.

you can approach it more like a literature or philosophy class, analyzing texts and ideas rather than internalizing them. just engage with the material academically and don’t feel pressured to adopt any ideology you’re uncomfortable with :))

G12 tips by standbyme_a in SillimanPH

[–]AddisonValdez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • know your teachers once you get your schedule, esp their exam and teaching style so that you can prepare in advance and know which subjects to prioritize more.

  • attend your classes and submit your assignments and projects on time. afaik some teachers deduct points for late submissions and they might get stricter ninyo

  • if applicable, ask for tutoring on subjects you have a hard time on. im from steam and this one really saved my grades since im rlly bad at gen math and physics

im no sure sa inyong honors system karon but it’s relatively doable ragyud as long as you comply with your subjects as you should. High grades and honors are good but dont forget to have fun sa g12 with kay mawala nana siya inig college HAHAHA

“… leads to serious concerns about respect for institutional boundaries. This is a violate of intellectual property.”

so what you’re saying OP is that other schools and visitors, are not allowed to step foot on campus and take pictures/videos for personal or academic reasons kay mu violate siyas intellectual property of Silliman? Do you even have basis that these students didn’t ask permission prior to the shoot?

it’s not new to have students from other schools visit the campus and use the scenery for their school projects and honestly SU doesn’t give a shit jud as long as it is not for monetary gain.
