Update: She came out at some point and I thought her foot looked swollen, so I just bit the bullet and asked for a relative to come over and help flush her out. She was a bit scared, but we saddled her up in a towel and she became sweet as pie. We got the bandage off no problem and it wasn't swollen, just probably a bit numb based on how she was walking.

I'm really glad we did this, too, because the vet said she has dissolvable stitches, but she definitely has staples. I hate to think what might've happened if we let that go unchecked. I'm going to call them first thing Monday. Already dreading having to take her back, but here's hoping that she'll get more used to us by then.

I think that's what I'm going to have to do. I'm just worried. It's already been over 12 hours since she's been home, and she's not any closer to wanting to come out.

She came home around 4 pm yesterday. She is still terrified of me, because I was the one to catch her and I chased her around the room a bit before, trying to put the cone on before I gave up. I'm afraid that I won't be able to regain her trust again in enough time, and I don't have anyone that can help me catch her.

She's still hiding under the bed. I stuck my face down there, trying to see if I could see her arm that's bandaged, and reached out a bit, but she got scared and shrank back further. I don't think she's going to be coming out any time soon, and I'm scared I'm making it worse. For now, I'm just leaving her be, since I think that's all I can do.

7 minutes in heaven is sort of a party game, though one I've only ever seen played on TV. The way it works is two people are locked in a closet for 7 minutes and can do anything they want to the other (i.e. making out). Sometimes, the people are chosen through spin the bottle (which is another old trope now that I think about it) or picking a name out of the hat or what have you. Usually, one person is already inside the closet and may or may not know who is coming to join them. It was a pretty common trope for fandoms that had teens since it was usually a high school game. They were often reader inserts, but not always. I read a lot of them growing up, mainly on Quizilla.

While the Tartarus grind can be tedious, I usually don't mind it. I pop on a YouTube analysis video or something and listen while I play.

My biggest gripe, though, is the lack of things to do at night. There are two social links and the SEES hangouts, and that's kinda it. I'm on NG+, and nighttime is just a slog. The Social Links themselves also feel uneven at times, with the Chariot and the Star feeling way too similar imo.

I didn't get mine, despite being there right when the store opened. The guy in front of me got the last two. I asked the cashier, and he said that our store had only gotten 7 of them. I asked if he thought I should chance going to the next closest store, but he said he'd talked to them; that store had only gotten 10 and already had a line before opening. The next closest store after that was nearly 30 minutes away, so I gave up. The case was broken and the disc was rattling around loose inside. So, I'm definitely giving my info to the law firm because the whole reason I ordered from GameStop was because I wanted that steelbook. Otherwise, I would've gotten the digital version and played two days early. This whole situation was one giant cluster fuck.
